TREC Community Investors selects Mill City as next focus neighborhood

Grant money and pro bono services will be aimed at this South Dallas neighborhood that has about 22% vacant lots. It’s the latest example or urban redevelopment and reinvestment from The Real Estate Council, which will partner with community organizations to tackle issues such as outdated infrastructure, food insecurity, affordable housing needs and a lack of community gathering space.
